Laying the digital foundation for a bold new brand

Our partnership with 8TH DAY began with a simple but urgent brief: replace their compromised one-page website. In response, we created an initial website to re-establish their digital presence and restore credibility.

However, as the business evolved - launching a bold new brand language and a refreshed strategic direction - it became clear that the interim site no longer aligned with their ambitions.

The challenge was to create a website that captured the spirit of their new vision - innovative, exploratory, and rich in storytelling. It also had to be flexible enough to grow with them and support future content expansion.

Crafting a dynamic expression of the new visual language

We experimented with the client’s unique visual language, drawing heavily from structured compositions, and how this could be expressed in a digital and responsive environment.

Rejecting a fixed template approach in favour of handcrafted layouts, we designed a completely bespoke website that leveraged grids, a diverse colour palette, and a playful use of shape and imagery.

This allowed for a dynamic, layered experience where text, visuals, and movement worked together to evoke curiosity and depth. Every page was treated as a canvas to convey both the rational and imaginative sides of the brand.

Empowering the team to manage opportunities & content seamlessly

Behind the scenes, we ensured the site was not only beautiful but also highly functional and measurable. Google Analytics, Simple Analytics, and HubSpot CRM are integrated to support both data-driven decision-making and lead generation.

The site was built on Drupal, which allowed us to develop modular templates for case studies and thought pieces.

These templates empower 8TH DAY to maintain editorial control over their content while preserving design integrity - ensuring consistency, scalability, and ease of use going forward.
